Weekly Update

Hello everyone,

Here’s an overview of what your Westcotes Neighbourhood Policing Team has been working on over the past week:

Arrests and Enforcement

-A suspect was arrested for sexual assault following a swift investigation by local officers.

-Working alongside undercover security staff at local shops, officers made three arrests in connection with theft and antisocial behaviour.

-Three individuals have been recalled to prison after breaching the terms of their licence.

These results reflect the ongoing partnership between the community, local businesses, and your neighbourhood team to reduce crime and keep Westcotes safe.

Community Engagement

Our PCSOs have been raising awareness about hate crime, speaking with residents and local groups about how to recognise, report, and prevent hate-related incidents.

Team News

We’ve had a couple of team changes this week:

PC Mat has moved on to another role within the force. We thank him for his hard work and dedication to the Westcotes community.

PC Lauren has now joined the Westcotes beat team and is already getting involved in local engagement and patrols. A warm welcome to her!
